The key to children’s learning rests on their well-being and their social understandings. It’s founded on their relationships with close adults and then also with their relationships with other children.
It’s a crucial area of life for young children as they develop relationships and learn to manage their feelings and behaviour. They develop self-confidence and self awareness as they come to understand them selves and can ask for what they need. They gradually become aware of the feelings of others and begin to be able to co-operate and work in groups.
